At Trax, we have a unique sponsor who’s a bit closer to home—our very own workshop manager, Jeff! He’s the face of Trax, not just tinkering away in the workshop or out on the field, but also racing around the country. Jeff’s journey through the world of endurance sports is nothing short of epic.

He’s dashed, pedaled, and splashed his way across the country, embracing the triathlete’s trifecta: running, cycling, and swimming. This triad of trials has propelled him into the realm of Triathlons, where he’s already conquered the half Ironman. Now, he’s gearing up for the ultimate test of grit – the full Ironman in September 2024.


For the uninitiated, the Ironman is a 140-mile gauntlet. It kicks off with a 2.4-mile swim that’s more than just a dip in the pool, followed by a 112-mile bike ride that’s not your leisurely countryside pedal. And just when you think it’s over, there’s a 22.4-mile marathon that laughs in the face of the word ‘finish line.’ It’s the kind of event where you earn every step, pedal, and stroke. Let’s be honest, most of us would need a nap after just reading about it, let alone attempting it.
