History of Trax
Established in 1979 by entrepreneur Collin Iddon, who was also at the helm of a local land drainage company, Trax Hydraulics was created to cater to the hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication needs of nearby businesses.
Over the course of nearly five decades, Trax Hydraulics has built a solid reputation for delivering services that are not only swift and efficient but also characterised by a friendly demeanour, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
This steadfast dedication to excellence has been instrumental in Trax Hydraulics’ evolution into the esteemed establishment it is recognized as today.
Trax continues to be a family-owned business, firmly rooted in the values established at its inception. Though acquired by Tom Wright in the early 2000s, they have since invested substantially in advanced computer hardware and state-of-the-art software to oversee all aspects of the business.
This technological upgrade has allowed Trax to expand its customer base and enhance its operational efficiency and presentation, establishing itself as a premier professional organisation in today’s digital world.
In early 2015, Trax completed a rebranding initiative, which included the introduction of new logos to uphold the brand’s modern and recognisable image.
The former logo, a creation of Colin from nearly four decades prior, was deemed antiquated and not befitting a company of distinction in the modern era. As a result, Trax unveiled a logo befitting the 21st century, encapsulating its identity as a forward-thinking enterprise.
In 2024, Trax has embraced further modernisation, unveiling a new logo designed to correct errors and stand the test of time.
Accompanied by a completely redesigned website, from which you are currently reading, Trax is now poised for growth and evolution as we step into the future.
This transformation enables Trax Hydraulics to provide a contemporary and professional experience to all customers, whether they require minor hose repairs, connectors, or custom machine manufacturing and modifications.
